James H. Williams works for USA Today as a sports reporter covering the Los Angeles area. Williams covers UCLA football, the Los Angeles Lakers, the L.A. Clippers and the Dodgers, among other teams.
He joined USA Today in 2024, covering the Dodgers’ postseason run and World Series championship.
Williams was previously the UCLA football beat reporter for the Orange County Register and the Southern California News Group. He started covering the team in the 2019 season. Not only does he write about the Bruins but he also co-hosts the Bleav in UCLA Football podcast.
Williams joined SCNG in 2013 and is now an Assistant Sports Editor with an emphasis on digital content.
Aside from writing for several publications throughout his career, he has also co-hosted a radio show and a live-to-tape television show.
